What is Coworking?
Coworking is when multiple small businesses & freelancers, working independently from one another, all share one collaborative workspace environment. Coworking offers many benefits, including: flexible terms, community events, affordable memberships and networking opportunities.
Kollektiv is a Coworking venue and shared office space in the heart of German Village in Columbus, OH. We offer flexible, short-term memberships with a variety of workspace options. Kollektiv occupies the top two floors with dedicated workspaces and shared office space for rent. We share the first floor with our on-site bar, Wunderbar. Our unique space has created an upbeat and lively culture that is not easily found in traditional workplace environments.
We offer a variety of membership options that can be customized based on the needs of your business. Hot Desks are available on a first come, first basis on the first floor of our space. We offer part-time, full-time and day rates for our hot desks - all contract free! For a more permanent location, we offer dedicated desks in our communal workspace on the third floor. Claim your desk for at least 3 months, and enjoy the peace of mind knowing that you will always be guaranteed a workspace of your own. Finally, we offer private offices for teams up to 5 people. Our offices are move-in ready plus have amazing features like exposed brick, original hardwood floors & restored fireplaces.
We have partnered with The Eleanor, a female focussed Coworking community and social club. We are excited to announce The Eleanor Lounge at Kollektiv, a new collaboration from the ladies who brought you The Eleanor and Kollektiv. This private community workspace & social club is designed for women & located on the 2nd floor of our historic building in German Village. Eleanor Lounge memberships include access to The Eleanor Lounge and our exclusive, member-only events!
We share our beautiful building with Wunderbar, which means there is a full service bar on-site! Wunderbar is a neighborhood bar featuring local drafts, craft cocktails & community events like weekly trivia night. Let's talk work perks: Kollektiv members receive a member discount
at Wunderbar and access to exclusive happy hours. Your team happy hours have just gotten so much better.
Our beautiful building was built in 1889. Its first incarnation was Lemprecht’s Hall, which contained a saloon and grocery store on the first floor, apartments on the second floor, and a town hall on the third floor to host local meetings and dances. Annie Kaiser was the proprietor of Kaiser’s Hall for more than 50 years, from 1903 to 1958, at which point it began its long tenure as Max & Erma’s.
